Favorite Recipe - BAKED FRENCH TOAST


 1/2 cup "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" melted

1/4 cup brown sugar (recipe originally called for 3/4 of a cup, I cut it down)

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

6 eggs

1/2 cup milk (I use almond milk)

12 slices of Challah

Pealed and Sliced apples or any fruit or berries.  Enough to cover the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish



Grease a 9x13 baking dish (I use Pam)

Cover the pan with pieces of fruit

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the fruit

place bread on top of this in 2 layers


Beat eggs, melted butter and milk in a separate bowl and pour over the bread

Cover with silver foil and place in refrigerator overnight (or at least 4 hours)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake in preheated oven until done -- about 35 minutes
